Manchester Shows its Support for Asylum Seekers

Despite miserable conditions and pouring rain, over three hundred supporters of asylum seekers marched through Manchester on Saturday 7th April.
A rally in the Peace Gardens was addressed by Sam Azad from the International Federation of Iranian Refugees. Sam highlighted the plight of Kurdish refugees from Iraq and Iran. He then went on to speak of the general hostility to refugees and migrants all over the world.
