If you are reading this
page you or your family or friends are facing deportation
NCADC helps people set up Anti-Deportation Campaigns
and there is no criteria for getting support from NCADC other than
that the person is facing deportation
The Home Office have refused your/their claim and
are now required by the Home Office to leave the UK.
The only way you/they will be able to remain in the
UK is to ask the Home Secretary to allow you/them to remain in the
UK on compassionate grounds.
Persuading the Home Secretary is normally done through campaigning,
gathering signatures on model letters and petitions.
NCADC cannot campaign on anyones behalf, we can only help.
Plenty of examples of campaigning in the 'Help wanted
for Campaigns' in the left hand column.
They follow the same formula ,
1) story of their life in their home country
2) why they came to the UK,
3) why their asylum claim failed
4) What they are asking people to do to help them remain in the
UK
5) A campaign address
6) A model letter and petition,
7) A photo of person/family if possible
If you want to campaign you will have to do the above, put together
a story, NCADC will help all they can.
You will need an accommodation address for the campaign, a local
community centre/church/trade union office, would be fine.
