Contacting Airlines

Contact details for commercial airlines known to be used by UKBA for individual deportation flights. The initials following the name of the company are the ones used to identify them in the flight number. For example, KQ101 is a Kenya Airways flight. If the flight number starts with PVT, this means it is a charter flight and the operating company will not be revealed.

Remember: if you are going to contact airlines for last-minute anti-deportation campaigning, politely explain to the airline that UKBA are trying to remove someone against their will. Explain why they would be at risk if they are removed, or why it is a breach of their human rights to be removed, and why they need to stay in the UK.

Keep it simple, clear and calm. It is UKBA who are responsible for the deportation, but you wish to raise your concerns (for the airline's reputation, the individual being deported, and the other passengers on the flight) that the airline is involved in this act.
