NCADC seeks management committee members

Register now for Management Committee election

NCADC is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors, also known as the Management Committee. The committee’s role is to support and strengthen ongoing work of the organisation, providing guidance to its direction, and supporting the workers.

Directors are elected by NCADC members at our Annual General Meetings. We are now seeking applications to stand for election at this year’s AGM on Saturday 8 September. You need to be a member to stand, but if you aren’t already a member, you can easily sign up at the website.

What kind of person are we looking for?

General attributes: We are looking for people who are willing to participate actively in the running and management of NCADC and who are available to attend regular meetings and to contribute to policy and decision making.

Specific skills/experiences: We would particularly welcome applications from people who are in the process of seeking asylum, or who have recently been granted status and other grass roots activists. We would also welcome applications from people with skills and experience in using the mainstream media; campaigning; human resources and fundraising.

To find out more, and to download an application form, go to our website here.

PLEASE ACT QUICKLY - please send your application by Friday 10th August, 2012.
